Púca worked with Thorntons to develop a self service app that would allow customers to access their accounts and provide real time information along with service updates. The challenge was to link the app to their existing account so that customers could check and ‘top-up’ their account with Realex payment, access collection schedules and calendar information.
This app provided a convenient “always on” service channel with no call waiting while deflecting calls from their contact centre providing overall cost savings. Key features such as push notifications which use Púca’s notification platform and self service options has greatly improved Thornton’s customer service; saving them time and effort.
