Púca was founded in 2000 by tech innovator Eamon Hession (decd) and was one of Europe’s very first mobile marketing and messaging gateway providers. Our focus was originally on interactive SMS marketing campaigns for consumer brands. We soon evolved into the enterprise messaging space in response to increasing demand for 2-way business messaging.

CEO Eileen Carroll joined in late 2001 to help develop the sales operation, later taking on the roles of Client Services Director in 2005 and Managing Director in 2019. Eileen is also co-Founder of Prommt, a successful spin-off in the paytech space.

Our experienced leadership team includes Richard Cody as Head of DevOps, Marco Masiero as Operations Manager, and David Sweeney as Customer Success Manager. Our appWorks division is headed up by Javier Rodriquez from Cadiz, Spain.
