Púca wins Best Mobile Marketing Campaign at Ireland’s Digital Media Awards

Púca has been awarded Best Mobile Marketing Campaign 2006 for its Irish Heart Foundation Campaign at the Digital Media Awards, Ireland’s premier showcase for the Digital Media sector. Another one of Puca’s campaigns - Peugeot 207 - was also nominated.

The Digital Media Awards recognise the best and most innovative digital media and marketing companies and programmes. This year's awards were held on 1st February in a black tie-event held in Dublin's Burlington Hotel. Puca claimed the Best Mobile Marketing Campaign award for its mobile marketing solution for the Irish Heart Foundation. It was designed to appeal to a very wide and youthful audience. It included a strong visual beating heart multimedia message which could be forwarded to friends. The campaign coincided with Valentine's Day and consumers could donate to the Irish Heart Foundation by sending a text message containing the word HEART to the shortcode, 57500. The campaign was very successful in helping to raise funds for the fight against premature deaths from heart disease and stroke in Ireland.

Puca was also nominated in the same category for the Mobile Internet site it developed to promote the launch of the Peugeot 207. The Mobile Internet site included a virtual tour of the Peugeot 207, images that could be downloaded to consumers’ phones, a competition for a holiday in Paris and the ability to request a test-drive. The campaign put customers in direct contact with Peugeot dealerships and enabled detailed campaign tracking.
