Púca has helped Publicis D, the agency for Renault Ireland, create a mobile marketing campaign that includes SMS response, unique codes and a mobile internet site. The campaign uses Púca’s industry-leading SMS platform combined with a custom mobile Internet site developed by Púca. 

  

Publicis D wanted to find a way of promoting the new Renault Fluence car and drive traffic to their dealerships. The focal point of the campaign was a competition where entrants were in with a chance to win a Renault Fluence. Consumers could enter the competition in-store or as a quicker alternative by simply texting the word CAR to 51500. Not only would they be in with a chance to win the car but by entering they were also entitled to claim a free 25 point safety check – all they had to do was to text back the word CHECK to register. This automatically sent them an SMS with a unique code for claiming the safety check, along with a URL link to a dealer locator. The mobile Internet page allowed consumers to search for their nearest Renault dealer by county.

 

Using Púca’s web-based login, the SMS response statistics can be monitored 24/7 by time, date and keyword. The successful promotion of the campaign led to thousands of entries over the space of just one week.
