Mars launches instant-win SMS promotion

To promote it’s “Summer of Sport” campaign and drive in-store sales, Mars, in conjunction with Lifestyle Sports, is offering consumers the chance to win Lifestyle Sports vouchers everyday in June, July and August. Vouchers range from €20 up to €500,  worth €20,000 in total!

Púca developed the instant win mechanic including the dedicated keyword, allowing consumers to enter by simply texting MARS to 51500*. Consumers find out instantly whether or not they have won, and the winning amount. Winners then text back their details for fulfillment.

Through it’s advertising agency Irish International, Mars is promoting the “Summer of Sport” campaign on in-store POS, 6 sheets and on Bus Sides.

Using Púca’s web-based login, Irish International can monitor the SMS response statistics by time and date, and track prize fulfillment through Púca’s reporting system.
